Lake Restrictions
As a shore owner, you may be thinking of making some changes to your property. Before you start, take a few minutes to make sure your plans fall within the APA, Chase's Lake and Town guidelines. Chase's Lake is located within the Adirondack Park and subject to the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) rules and regulations. In addition, shore owners are obligated to follow the Chase's Lake Land and Lake Restrictions when cutting trees or brush, building or remodeling. Of course, a Town of Watson building permit is also required. What may seem like overly stringent restrictions in truth is what actually attracted you to our beautiful lake. It is our duty to treat our environment with a gentle hand.
